Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is known for his unfiltered yet jubilant personality. With that said, he had no qualms about ripping Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford during an interview ESPN Seattle’s Brock And Salk show. Bennett went in on Bradford who recently inked a 2-year $40 million deal with his team and immediately demanded a trade after realizing that the Eagles would select a quarterback in the upcoming draft. The franchise went on to select North Dakota State alum Carson Wentz.

Though he huffed and puffed about having to compete for a starting job, Bradford later retracted his statement after he pulled a no-show during the Eagles’ voluntary offseason workouts. Currently unhappy with his own contract situation with the Seahawks, Bennett was very vocal about Bradford’s actions.

“I listened to Sam Bradford again. I just almost threw up. I can’t believe Sam Bradford is complaining about making $40 million in the next two years, and because he actually has to compete for a position. This guy, this guy right here definitely sets a bad tone of what a player should be.”

Bennett further questioned Bradford’s character and how it may possibility affect his relationship with his teammates.

“If I was his teammate…how can you play with a guy that doesn’t want to compete at a high level and feels like his position should be solidified without even putting up the stats or the wins to back that up?”

The Eagles will play the Seahawks in Seattle during Week 11 of the upcoming NFL season, so this game now has an added storyline, especially if Bradford is still the starter for Philadelphia by that time.
