According to a TMZ Sports report, the LAPD is currently investigating an incident involving James Harden and a paparazzi, in which the Rockets guard reportedly shoved the photographer during a short-lived altercation, resulting in the paparazzo breaking his finger.
The report says that Harden was merely hanging out in front of a Hollywood lounge when he was approached by the paparazzo in question, who asked Harden about his opinion on Donald Trump. Harden, who was clearly not in the mood to talk about the next potential Commander-in-Chief, then reportedly initiated the physical altercation, which is how we’ve arrived at this current situation.
As of the time of this writing, Harden hasn’t been charged with a crime, but the investigation is underway. The report goes on to say that authorities have inquired about the paparazzo’s medical records, which indicates that his claims are being taken rather seriously.
Harden will have all the time in the world to deal with this potential legal matter, considering his Rockets were expeditiously eliminated from the playoffs by the Warriors in the first round.
