According to a recent Instagram post, Curren$y is preparing to release his latest mixtape, The Legend of Harvard Blue. Although no release date has been announced, he did tease the album artwork last week. The New Orleans native has been popping off solo albums since 2009’s This Ain’t No Mixtape, although his career officially kicked off once he signed to Master P‘s No Limit Records in 2002. Since then, he’s been riding the wave of rap stardom with several collaborative projects and notable appearances alongside artists such as The Alchemist and Wiz Khalifa. In 2011, Curren$y started his own label, Jet Life Recordings, which is currently home to artists like Trademark Da Skydiver, Young Roddy, Street Wiz, Smoke DZA, and Corner Boy P.
