The story of Draymond Green‘s maybe inadvertent groin kick is all that’s really going on in the sports world today, and its intensity will only heighten later today if the NBA announces that Draymond is suspended for tomorrow’s pivotal Western Conference Finals Game 4.

If you ask Steven Adams‘ groin area, which has suffered blows from Draymond’s leg in consecutive playoff games, Green should absolutely not be allowed to play, but it’s not that simple. Was the kick intentional? Were his actions merely the result of a solid playoff foul? Has the league allowed more egregious fouls in the Eastern Conference Finals to go unaddressed? All of these things will likely play into the commissioner’s decision, an announcement of which could be made any minute now.

Regardless of what happens today or tomorrow, there likely won’t be any lingering beef between Adams and Green. In the above video clip, courtesy of LeBron James‘ sports media outlet Uninterrupted, you can see Adams and Green quickly exchange pleasantries somewhere in the depths of Chesapeake Energy Arena. It’s unclear what was said, but the two big men appeared to be at least amiable during their brief encounter.

That didn’t stop Steven Adams from joking that he’s considering wearing a cup in tomorrow’s Game 4. You gotta love it.
