“Girlfriend” is NAO’s first release from her anticipated debut album. The track is a promising tune with just enough R&B to satisfy your ears and pack in some nostalgia. The singer, whose music classifies as “pop,” shows her versatility and true Black girl magic through addicting musical runs mid verse and stellar production choices.
Her singles “Bad Blood” and “Fool To Love” catapulted her to fame in Europe and cities like Los Angeles and New York more recently. This year she’s heading out on tour in Europe in late October and early November, hitting 14 cities.
