Cousin Stizz is currently recording the follow-up to his debut project, Suffolk County, and he’s begun to tease his fan base with new tunes.
The latest of those is “Gain Green,” the video for which you can watch above. The title of the Goodwin-directed clip is of course a clever flip of the popular term “gang green,” which is what the rival team (the NY Jets) of the Massachusetts native’s hometown Patriots was dubbed a few years back. The banger was world premiered on Drake‘s OVO Sound Radio show this past Saturday, Stizz and Drizzy are of course inextricably linked, considering many folks’ first introduction to Stizz was when Drake used his “Shoutout” to soundtrack his 28th birthday party.
Neither the title nor the release date for Stizz’s sophomore effort has been revealed yet, but if he’s just getting ramped up, it should be another summer to remember for the “Shoutout” rapper.
Like what you just saw? Stizz is blowing up, and you can read up more on him in the new issue of The Source, on newsstands and on the web today.
