Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All The Way Up” was already destined to be a summer anthem, but thanks to the events of the last two days, it’s one of the hottest songs out. On Tuesday evening, the official remix was debuted, and it featured former Fat Joe foe Jay Z. Yesterday, Meek Mill and Fabolous–Jay Z’s Roc Nation cohorts–teamed up for a remix of their own, on which Meek trained his eye on Drake, took aim and fired.
If you’re keeping count, that’s four brand new verses from New York rap legends over the span of two days over the same instrumental. That’s how you get the summer started. Today a fifth legend, Jadakiss, decided to join the party, and he’s unleashed his own remix, bigging up Meek and Fab in the process. (Was Jada originally slated to appear on their remix? Maybe.)
