Fans of Snow Tha Product may know her for her rapid-fire, boisterous flow but with her latest video “Nights,” the artist takes a different approach at a more modern R&B style of a track.
Vocalist W.Darling sets off the melancholy tone of the song before Snow drops into a more melodic, slowed down flow. “What’s a little liquor to a cold heart / what’s a little pill but a little numb feeling, ah/ it could never end if it don’t start.”
The video features incredible skyline views and a duo-tone color scheme while Snow rides with a couple of her girls in a classic ride with the top down. The video takes a violent Training Day like turn when Snow approaches a guy at the door of a house, pulling a gun on him. Her female associates also help her rob the people in the house before speeding off into the night.
The sound of the track is different for the MC who has built a reputation of dropping hard, fast paced rhymes. “Nights” seems like a strong attempt at a more radio-friendly song from the talented MC.
