Jennifer Larocca, the women who helped her husband steal $234,500 from former Saturday Night Live cast member Joe Piscopo, was spared on Friday, June 3.
Instead of a prison term, Larocca was sentenced to three years probation. This sentence came one week after the three year state prison sentence, her bookkeeper husband received.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the New Jersey woman pleaded guilty to theft in February.Â
Piscopo hired Larocca’s husband Frank Barocca to manage the comedian’s funds and pay his bills. The thefts occurred between February 2010 and March 2014. The couple, who were going through financial despair, used the money for personal expenses.
They’ve agreed to make full restitution, however, and have already paid back about $64,000.
