Bobby Brown spoke to ABC’s Robin Roberts of 20/20 Tuesday night [June 7, 2016] and opened up about his eventful life.
Brown admits he and daughter Bobbi Kristina’s mother, the legendary Whitney Houston could have been better parents, pertaining to their drug abuse. He also spoke about what he says was a one-time incident of physical abuse towards Houston.
Brown also implied that the unfortunate deaths of both his ex-wife and daughter had something to do with Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon.
“It’s not a mystery to me. The same thing that happened to my daughter happened to Whitney,” Brown said of the coincidences between the two deaths as it relates to Gordon.
He also spoke on the rumor that he was the reason for Houston’s excessive drug use. “It wasn’t me who started her,” Brown said. “I take my part and I take it hard for me even being a part of it, but we all have our own minds and some of us are stronger than others.”
