Things haven’t been great for the Cleveland Cavaliers thus far in the NBA Finals. After the Golden State Warriors decisively beat them in game 1 of the series, they followed that up by dismantling the Cavs by 33 points in game 2. Now, with the series hanging in the balance for a crucial win in game 3, the Cavaliers will be without one of their main stars in Kevin Love, as he has been ruled out.
In the previous game, Love was accidentally struck in the head by Warriors forward Harrison Barnes. Following the blow, he appeared very dazed as Stephen Curry blew past him for a quick score. He was removed from the game and after several tests, and missing practices, team officials have ruled him out for game three.
Kevin Love has been informed that he will not be medically cleared to play in Wednesday night’s Game 3, ESPN has learned
