Rumors of various new Love & Hip Hop seasons spiral so frequently we’re never quite sure how true they are until we see the trailer premiere on VH1. The latest addition to the LHH cycle was Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood back in 2014. More recently we got word there is, in fact, a Love & Hip Hop: Houston in the works.

Filming has already begun in Houston, Texas and the cast is a compilation of some very interesting characters, some of which who are already familiar. The cast includes Kirko Bangz, Johnni Blaze from Love & Hip Hop New York, Meghan James from Bad Girls Club and Basketball Wives LA, pro boxers Jermall and Jermell Charlo, J. Prince Jr., The Sauce Twins, Just Brittany, party promoter Lil Keith, DJ Eric and well known rapper, Propain.

According to Fox News reporter Isiah Carey, Houston rap mainstay Slim Thug says he’s definitely not a part of the show. He says he’s not interested in being on TV but he wishes those who are doing it much success.

It wouldn’t be a shock to see a couple of appearances from Drake on the show, since his love for the city of Houston is well-documented. From the timing of the filming, it seems we can expect Love & Hip Hop Houston to premiere in our fall lineup of new shows. Stay tuned for it to premiere on VH1 very soon.
