Tomorrow night [Saturday, June 11] a new documentary will premiere, exploring the life of O.J. Simpson. Unlike FX’s The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, this documentary will start at the beginning, exploring race relations in America in the 1960s and O.J. Simpson’s early life.
The documentary, part of ESPN’s award-winning series, 30 for 3, will air in five parts, and will be nearly eight hours in total. The director, Ezra Edelman, has produced several other 30 for 30 documentaries before, such as Cutie and The Boxer, which was nominated for Academy Award, and he has won four Emmys for his work on the show Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel.
According to ESPN’s website for the documentary, it covers everything:
“The domestic abuse. The police investigation. The white Bronco chase. The trial of the century. The motive, the blood, the glove. The verdict. The aftermath.
