With festival season well and truly underway, festivals goers at Nashville’s Bonnaroo festival received a welcomed surprise during J. Cole‘s set last night [Saturday, June 12] as Chance the Rapper took to the stage to perform “No Problems,” a track from his latest project, Coloring Book.
The annual megafest saw the crowd go insane when Chance came out, and they started to sing the track word for word. Of course Cole bringing out Chance was a good decision, because the young Chicago native has been dominating headlines since his third mixtape was released on May 12.
Not only did Chance join J. Cole on stage, he also crashed Bryson Tiller‘s set and performed “No Problems” for the second time, receiving the exact same reaction.
Although Chance previously revealed he would be at Bonnaroo because he was covering the festivals for a publication, we guess he realized the best story to cover is the one where you make yourself the main attraction. Looks like the crowd agrees.
I’ll be at #Bonnaroo again this year, but this time I’ll doing a write up for a publication I admire and revere. Can’t wait. ✍?
