The 9th Wonder, Talib Kweli and Rapsody collaboration proved to be the dream team with the 2015 hit, “Every Ghetto.” Now they’re back at it again.
Yesterday [June 13] 9th took to his Instagram to announce the release of his latest joint with Kweli, “Life Ahead of Me” featuring Rapsody.
Accompanied by a graphic driven video, the choice to grant Rapsody the first verse of the song is a big hint of how epic the song is. Rapsody demands attention and respect as she chews up and spits out the entire rap game in one verse—women and men included.
Kweli never fails us, as he advocates fearlessness in every aspect of the word when it comes to his important voice. Such a collaboration with these three will always be dangerous and indeed necessary for the strength of Hip Hop. Watch the “Life Ahead of Me” video below.
