Beyoncé recently added a option for her fans to opt-in to contribute the Flint fund along with purchasing tickets to the Formation Wold Tour. On Monday [June 13], United Way of Genesee County received a check for $82,234 from Beyoncé and her entertainment and management company, Parkwood Entertainment.

The team didn’t stop there. They also chose 14 Detroit area students to receive “college gifts” going towards their educational expenses and tickets to tonight’s show at Ford Field.

We can expect more philanthropy from Parkwood Entertainment in the future, as Detroit is just one of the three cities to have the charity event component.
