Upon the release of their single “Look Alive,” Rae Sremmurd announced the release date for their sophomore album SremmLife 2 via iTunes. The iTunes pre-order link claimed the album would be released on June 24, whereas now the album release date has been pushed back to August 12.

Although the track list and album cover art for Sremm Life 2 was already released, the duo has been traveling a lot lately and such a schedule possibly could have put a delay in the entire process. Nonetheless, Rae Sremmurd assured us via Twitter that the project would be well worth the wait.

Sremm Life 2 is a 14 track album with a very unique set of features. Fans can expect to hear from Kodak Black, Lil Jon, Juicy J, Bobo Swae, Imxcd and Riff 3x.

There’s no doubt Rae Sremmurd will produce a quality album as the projects they’ve released recently, even including the music Swae Lee worked on for Beyoncé’s Lemonade, all proved the depth of their talents and the longevity they’re establishing.
