According to reports, R&B crooner Trey Songz got into a disagreement with a female officer in Atlanta last night [Saturday, June 18].
It occurred backstage at Philips Arena, where he was set to perform at Hot 107.9’s annual Birthday Bash Concert. Songz was getting himself prepared to do a surprise performance where rapper Young Jeezy was set to be the headliner for the evening.
The backstage area was restricted and required all guests that had access to wear a special wristband that indicated their approval. A party in Trey’s camp didn’t put his on at that moment and a female officer in the vicinity informed him that he needed to do so.
That’s when Trey Songz allegedly lost his composure. Sources report he got extremely out of line with the officer, yelled at her and called her a “minimum wage-making b—-“.
“Just as the officer was about to grab Trey and further escalate the situation, a member of the radio station staff quickly shot over to pull Trey back and smooth the situation over. “
