Drake is reportedly being sued by producer Detail for allegedly getting his bodyguard to attack and threaten to attack “his b*tches,” too.
Detail and Drake are familiar with each other as the duo teamed up to work on Drake’s song “305 to my City” in 2013. Drake must have really liked his work, because a year later he hired Detail to work as his executive producer under one condition: he allegedly had to work with Drake and only Drake. Detail declined the offer and apparently the rapper wasn’t too fond of this.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Detail says Drake invited him to his home in Calabasas, California in 2014 where he thought he had another chance to work with the rapper. When he approached the door, he was greeted by Drake’s bodyguard Chubbs, who allegedly punched him in his face, immediately breaking his jaw. The documents described Chubbs yelling, “I will beat all your a**es, including your b*tches. I don’t give a f**k. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”
Detail has worked with numerous artists in the industry like Drake, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Beyoncé on “Drunk In Love.” Detail claims Drake “set him up for the beating” with Chubbs and is suing for an unspecified amount in damages.
