The month of June has been a super exciting one for Mr. West. He started it off with a performance at Summer Jam, caused mayhem with a cancelled pop up concert that shut down the streets of New York, released Yeezy Season 2 Women’s Collection and the Yeezy Boost 750’s, released an extremely controversial video featuring a bunch of naked celebrities and today dropping an hour long version of “Father Stretch My Hands Part 1.” According to Billboard, the “…remix was featured in a Paris Fashion show by West’s longtime collaborator, Virgil Abloh at the launch of his newest Off- White label line.” A 40 minute version of the song was uploaded to Soundcloud that varied from the hour long version.

Abloh took to Instagram to post a picture of himself and Kanye West saying,

“Father Stretch My Hands” is most famously known for its second part that features Desiigner‘s catchy hook on his song “Panda.” With the help of “Father Stretch My Hands,” “Panda” went platinum and Kanye signed Desiigner to G.O.O.D Music. It’s said a shorter version of the “Father Stretch My Hands” remix was played by DJ Dodger Stadium at the premiere of the “Famous” video at the L.A. Forum.
