It’s always supposed to be a great whenever the whole family gets together to go see a nice wholesome movie for the kids. That was the idea when a group of parents and kids went to go see Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory at the Brenden Concord 14 Theater located in California. Unfortunately for them, they were treated to the trailer for the very R-rated Seth Rogen film Sausage Party. The 3D film’s motif is that of a sausage that is desperately trying to avoid being eaten. For those that are not too familiar with the forthcoming film, take a ganger at the trailer below.

The Vice President of Operations of the Brenden Theater Corporation, Walter Eichinger issued a statement attempting to explain the mixup.

“Playing that trailer was a one-time honest mistake by a theater manager moving screens around in an effort to accommodate several large last-minute groups wanting to see Dory. The wrong movie was started by mistake.”

Eichinger further expounded on his sentiments, adding that one of the managers at the theater apparently got flustered during a very busy day and accidentally clicked on the wrong movie, which later set off a chain reaction that resulted with the wrong trailer being played prior to Finding Dory.

For what it’s worth, Seth Rogen, the creator of Sausage Party, was elated by the news.

Since fully finding massive success in Hollywood with his cult classic Super Bad, Rogen has had a slew of highly successful films but as it currently stands, Sausage Party is on track to be his biggest film ever.
