Only last week Frank Ocean drove social media mad when he was spotted dressed in a doctor’s outfit, leading to suspicions the New Orleans singer was quitting music for good (it turned out to be an old photo). Fast forward to today and Ocean has the socials popping once again, but this time for a reason we can all be grateful for—his website has been updated with promise of a new album.

Without a doubt, Ocean’s new album Boys Don’t Cry is one of the most anticipated albums of 2016 and with a new asset stating a July release, it means we’re in for something great this month. Nearly a year later since the immensely talented singer and songwriter first teased the album, he seems to be ready to step back into the world of music and we couldn’t be happier.

Since his breakout, Grammy Award-winning debut album channel ORANGE in 2012, Ocean has previously referred to his upcoming album as “#ALBUM3” in reference to his critically acclaimed pre-album mixtape, nostalgia/ultra, which housed his breakout hit “Novacane.”
