Yesterday, the Golden State Warriors won free agency, and convinced Kevin Durant to leave Oklahoma City to sign with them for at least 2 years, thus forming probably the most formidable super team in NBA history. However, believe it or not, the Dubs had a couple holes to fill with the departure of Festus Ezeli and Andrew Bogut, their inconsistent but instrumental big men.

One of those holes has been plugged, as David West has decided to join the Warriors on a 1-year deal for the veteran’s minimum. West played last season in San Antonio after leaving $12.6 million on the table in Indiana, where he became one of the more prolific power forward options in the league. Last year, in a diminished role for diminished money, West was still a force, and despite only playing minor minutes towards the end of the Spurs West semifinals loss to Oklahoma City, teamed up with LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard to form a dangerous frontcourt–and the Warriors want in.

As far as the center position goes, Golden State still has that hole to plug. But with a 1-2-3-4 of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, who even needs a center?
