Atlanta’s Young Dro appeared on DJ Smallz TV recently for a short, odd interview. Too many rappers (unfortunately) aren’t known to be the most politically savvy nowadays, but Dro says he “loves politics” and feels good about them.
In the interview Dro says, “I hope Trump do win, go Trump.” We’re not sure if Dro’s response is tongue-in-cheek or if he was actually serious. He went on to call Obama’s administration a blessing, an example to young Black men that “you can do anything if you put your mind to it,” and saying he would end racism if he could. Which makes his endorsement of Trump possibly a joke. Decide for yourself by viewing the video below.
Trump hasn’t had an event without incident in recent weeks, with protesting and police presence at both his Denver and North Carolina visits recently.
