The NBA will likely wait until they’ve conducted their own investigation into the matter before penalties or suspensions are levied, and the Warriors have already made public the fact that they’re aware of Green’s arrest.

At this point, we are collecting information and will have no further comment until we have a better understanding of the situation.

Green has been instrumental in Golden State’s ascent from first-round playoff team to breaking the record for most wins in a single regular season. The Michigan State University standout was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft, and was voted to his first All-Star game this year. It was, however, a turbulent postseason for the former Spartan, who showed flashes of brilliance in helping the Warriors reach the NBA Finals, but was also suspended for a game of the Finals after landing a kick to the body of LeBron James. Green was also cited for landing two kicks to Thunder center Steven Adams‘ groin, and what he’s maintained were inadvertent, similar hits to Kyrie Irving and Russell Westbrook.

We’ll have more information on his arrest once details are made available.
