It looks like Drake isn’t the only one breaking records in nines.
According to Dr. Kevin Cowtan of the University of York in the United Kingdom, and PhD student Robert Way of the University of Ottawa, this past May [2016] made it the ninth consecutive month for the hottest 12-month period.
Basing the information off of accumulated research on global temperature, various different blocks of time were monitored (not just January-December) to pick up on temperature patterns.
Still confused? Essentially, each 12-month period has gotten hotter and hotter since September 2015.
