According to DJ Lord of Public Enemy‘s Facebook page, Donald Trump‘s star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame was defaced with black spray paint by Norwegian street artist Pøbel.
The artist was dressed in black, and geared with a pizza box and a can of black spray paint to quickly drop a stenciled muted sign over Trump’s name.
Pøbel, a Norwegian street artist, is based in Stavanger and best known for the Getto spedalsk project, painting abandoned buildings in at the Lofoten islands in the north of Norway, along with DOLK.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce oversees the Walk of Fame, and inducts a celebrity approximately 24 times a year. It has been adding stars for more than 50 years and will surely get this cleaned in the next few days.
DJ Lord, who is about to embark on a massive tour with the Prophets of Rage, posted it on Instagram with a caption that read: #Hollywood..it ain’t so bad after all. #DonaldTrump #MakeAmericaRAGEAgain.”
