Reports recently surfaced about Grammy award-winning artist, Lauryn Hill facing tax problems (again) with the IRS, and yesterday [July 18, 2016] she addressed those rumors.
Hill plead guilty to tax evasion back in 2012, resulting in her doing time in prison for three months. But she says the news we’re just hearing about has actually been an already-existing, ongoing battle for her. She took to her twitter to shed light on the situation, and put the rumors into perspective.

It’s refreshing to hear that Ms. Hill hasn’t fell victim to past hindering circumstances, but that in reality her current situation is getting a lot better. And luckily for Ms. Hill, she’s a living legend who still sells out shows and tours the world. Hopefully that’ll be of some contribution to a complete resolve with this ongoing issue she’s been dealing with.
