Last Sunday [July 17, 2016] DJ Magic hosted his sixth annual ‘Take It To The Streets’ Custom Car & Bike Show.
The event consists of an exhibition of exotic cars and motorcycles being on display in front of thousands of event goers at Coney Island’s MCU Baseball Park. T. It was a packed crowd at the home of minor league baseball’s Brooklyn Cyclones. Over 2000 people from across New York City attended the event. Guests were treated to a massive custom car collection that included Chevy Mustangs, Aston Martin DB7s, Harvey Davison bikes, and even a Ferrari 458 Spider. Some of DJ Magic closest friends like Brooklyn’s Grafh, Spliff Star, Jaquae and reggae artist Barbee came through to show support.
This year DJ Magic wanted to support local NY artists by giving them an opportunity to perform in front of his large audience. Artists from Spliff Star’s Paper Rock Records graced the stage and most notably, lyricist Josh Jacobs from East New York shut the stage down with his current single, “What Up.” The event was sponsored by Monster Energy Drinks and press included live coverage from News12 Brooklyn. A portion of the proceed from DJ Magic’s Custom Car & Bike Show went towards fighting Muscular Dystrophy.
