Upcoming Netflix film Sandy Wexler cast Hudson as the romantic lead for Sandler’s titular character, reports Hollywood Reporter. In a 90s world where talent manager Wexler aids up-and-comers, singer Courtney Clarke (Hudson) makes her way into the industry and finds out that music isn’t her only love.

Sandy Wexler joins the rest of Sandler’s Netflix ventures and films by Happy Madison Productions, many of which share the same director, Steven Brill.
