Gucci Mane‘s release from prison has unsurprisingly set the entire rap game in motion. Kanye West came calling for not one, but two records. Two of the game’s hottest producers, Mike Will Made-It and Zaytoven, dropped what they were doing to hack out a album in the Atlanta rapper’s home. A slew of young stars–Dreezy, Kodak Black among them–lined up for contributions from the OG trap god. And Drake flew down to A-Town to assist Gucci with a song on his Everybody Looking album, “Back on Road.”

But was that the only thing Gucci and Drake teamed up on?

According to Atlanta rap emperor and close Gucci Mane confidante, it wasn’t. During a Twitter Q&A today, Zaytoven confirmed to an inquiring fan that the rumors that Mr. Zone 6 and the 6 God were joining forces for a collaborative EP are in fact true. Zay hinted at Mike Will’s involvement–which would make sense, given his obvious relationship with Gucci and his work with Drake in the past–and was obviously excited at the prospect of the joint release. Drake’s obsession with Atlanta rap also lends to the idea that this thing is really happening.

The Gucci/Drake collab project wouldn’t be the first of its kind either. In September of last year, Drizzy and Future famously hooked up for a joint album, What a Time to Be Alive, that spawned a top 20 hit in “Jumpman.” “Back on Road” is also not the first Drake/Gucci Mane song in existence–see “Believe It or Not,” 2009–and Gucci shouted Drake out on the highest-selling album of his career, The State vs. Radric Davis, that same year.
