Nas and Cleveland native Machine Gun Kelly are executive-producing The Land, Erykah Badu‘s film, which debuted at last year’s Sundance Festival, about a group of teenagers desperate to leave Cleveland and become pro skaters. The film will star Michael K. Williams, Kim Coates, Badu herself and more.
The movie’s soundtrack will also be star-studded, thanks to appearances from Kanye West, Pusha T, MGK, Jeremih and more, and today we’re treated to one of its marquee collaborations. On “This Bitter Land,” Nas and Badu team up for a somber, bone-chilling ballad about the pursuit of freedom and happiness in the free world.
