As the group’s only #1 album, this project truly shows Juvenile, B.G., Lil Wayne and Turk together in rare form. The gritty yet polished bars of the Cash Money patrons melded together with Mannie Fresh‘s unique brand of New Orleans bounce production to create something that took the streets by storm.

Selling over 1,000,000 copies after only being on the shelves three months, Guerrilla Warfare peaked at #5 on the Billboard 200 chart and claimed the top spot on the Top R&B/Hip Hop chart. The success of this album is due in large part to the popularity of Juvenile’s 400 Degreez and B.G.’s Choppa City in the Ghetto. With both striking as Billboard top 10 albums, the anticipation for a collaborative album was at an all time high. This album also came at the dawn of Cash Money Records’ $3 million pressing and distribution deal with Universal Music Group resulting in the promotion and marketing behind this project having more resources than any that came before it.

Although the album’s singles “I Need a Hot Girl” feat Big Tymers, which peaked at #65 on the Billboard Hot 100, and “We on Fire”, which peaked at #5 on the Top Rap Singles chart, are considered the album’s standout tracks, the project’s entire track list received praise from critics and consumers alike. From top to bottom this album delivered everything that one could ask of the Cash Money Millionaires in ’98 and foreshadowed the ridiculous success that was to come for the label.

For every great moment, there’s a song that goes with it. We believe this is the SOUNDTRACK OF YOUR LIFE – SOL REPUBLIC.
