Clintn made it clear her experience and her life’s work has been about helping others, and in an election where Donald Trump wants to scare the world into believing he can fix all the problems, she made sure to promote togetherness and strength in unity.

Clinton was introduced by her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, who spoke about how her mother had devoted her life to public service, and how passionate her mother is about helping the American people. Clinton spoke for just under an hour, unlike the Donald who went on for a good 70 minutes. One of the powerful lines that Clinton delivered was about her work ethic and her attention to detail. She said that a President should be all about the details, and “it’s not just a detail if it’s about your kid.”

The DNC was very different compared to the Republican National Convention, with musical performances, celebrity speakers and one former and one current President speaking on her behalf. Clinton’s speech also differed from Trump’s in content and style. While Trump made a laundry list of promises, Clinton made sure to emphasize her plans for the future and attacked Trump’s credibility both as a business man, and as a candidate for Commander-in-Chief.

With both conventions over with, the race now enters the home stretch. The tickets have been nominated, the platforms have been decided on, and the attack ads will come fast and furious. And there will certainly be a lot of hype surrounding the Presidential debates, which will surely be entertaining.
