The Breakfast Club’s beloved host Charlamagne Tha God, made his second appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week and it was nothing short of entertaining. As the two warmly reunited, Colbert wasted no time referencing Charlamagne’s last visit, where he referred to himself as the “Prince of Pissing People Off”, the “Ruler of Rubbing People the Wrong Way” and the “Architect of Aggravation”. This led Colbert to inquire if Charlamagne was a Trump supporter, and his response of “I think Trump is an insult to American intelligence” was followed by loud cheers from the crowd. Charlamagne went further and compared Trump trying to convince America he would be a good president to if Kim Kardashian tried to convince everyone she can play basketball better than LeBron James.

Their conversation delves deeper into politics, as Colbert brings up how Bill Clinton “skates by” when he has done dishonest and disloyal things in the past, but when Hilary Clinton does shady things, the reputation of being dishonest sticks to her. Charlamagne suggests this is because Bill was “humanized” when he talked about his wrongdoing, so Hilary should be more open about hers as well.
