If you’re not following Draymond Green on Snapchat, at least while Team USA makes its Olympic rounds this summer, you’re doing yourself a disservice. The fiery, outspoken All-Star Warriors forward has been an emotional leader at every level of his basketball career, and that apparently includes the team plane karaoke session.
Green’s singing mates include Jimmy Butler, his new Warriors teammate Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Kyrie Irving and more, but one player was notably, for lack of a more appropriate term, just not with it. Carmelo Anthony, who should be in a singing mood thanks to the astonishing roster upgrades his Knicks executed this month, was not only noticeably not amused by the sing-along, but he took a completely left-field dig at Durant’s t-shirt, simply because he was annoyed at all the singing.
If you watch Green’s Snapchat, the song’s ranged from classic R&B to Radio Disney classics, but the highlight of peeved Melo came during a rendition of Vanessa Carlton‘s classic “A Thousand Miles.”
