Usher was stopping traffic yesterday [Friday, July 29] in New York City and no, it wasn’t his fame, his voice nor his dance moves that were making it happen. Usher was posted up in midtown Manhattan to play table tennis.
He was accompanied by celebrity jeweler Greg Yuna (better known as “Mr. Flawless”), known for his exorbitant displays on Sixth Avenue. They planted a ping pong table in the middle of the high-traffic thoroughfare as they competed against each other with a crowd of fans watching. Cars passed by and honked their horns pretty aggravated at the reason for their long waits in unnecessary traffic. Usher and Yuna seemed to have been having the time of their lives, regardless of the dirty looks and loud honks they received.
Usher took to Twitter to to give us a hint of a slight traffic jam on 6th Ave, so hey, we cant blame him.
We’re still not exactly sure the reason behind the ping pong contest but we should all figure out sooner than later.
