Yesterday [Sunday, July 31] another July ended, and Frank Ocean fans were upset the singer’s anticipated album Boys Don’t Cry still had yet to see the light of day. Then in the early hours of Monday [August 1] morning, an Apple Music video livestream popped up on the Grammy winner’s website, BoysDontCry.co. The black-and-white video appeared to be a looped video of an empty room.

Artist Francisco Soriano took credit for directing the video in a now deleted Instagram post, where he added Apple’s Cupertino headquarters as the location for his update. “Video art project I directed is up and running,” he captioned the post, adding “boysdontcry.co #endless.”

After hours of inactivity, the live stream changed to a shadowy person at a table cutting wood with a saw. Some background music also began playing, which could possibly be new sounds from Frank.

As many have pointed out, the last date on the library card image on the site is November 13, 2016. Maybe fans will have to wait until then to find out more.
