The hood made Young Jeezy, and he’s made it a point throughout his career to continually give back. In the past, the native ATLien has given his service to numerous charities, soup kitchens and holiday events around Atlanta, and he and his Street Dreamz Foundation continued that trend this past Sunday.
Jeezy and his SDF team donated 2,500 backpacks stocked with school supplies, which will be distributed to area elementary schools in time for the new school year kicking off in September. The “Seen It All” rapper was joined by Lil Jon, Shanti Dias in partnership with Hot 107.9 Atlanta and Walmart. Check out some images of the charitable contributions below.
