Nicki Minaj is joining the list of celebs who have also indulged in the gaming world. Partnering with Glu Mobile Inc., Minaj has created her own mobile app called “Nicki Minaj: The Empire.” Minaj joins the mobile game business with stars like Kim Kardashian West and Britney Spears.
The trailer for the game features a virtual Nicki and allows users to transform into the hip hop idol doing the very things she does like creating songs, doing performances, hosting events and parties and customizing their homes and wardrobes. Glu Mobile Inc. is also behind other celeb apps like “Britney Spears: American Dream,” “Kendal & Kylie,” and “Gordan Ramsy DASH.” This new gaming world could be very successful for Nicki as it has been for Kim K. “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” became one of the highest-grossing apps in Apple’s U.S. app store justlast summer and easily generated over $50 million.
