The mystery behind whatever has been in Hillary Clinton‘s inbox is sure to follow her around forever. “I was pointing out in both of those instances, that Director Comey had said that my answers in my FBI interview were truthful. That really is the bottom line here. What I told the FBI, which he said was truthful, is consistent with what I have said publicly. I may have short-circuited and for that I will try to clarify,” Clinton said.

Clinton then went on to remind listeners that she acknowledged many times her use of two email accounts was a mistake. Generally, the public has appreciated her taking responsibility for this aspect of the situation. However, investigators will presumably not appreciate her admitting she may have left out details and “short-circuited” her answers this entire time.
