On Friday night [August 5] around 42 people were injured after railings collapsed at Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa‘s concert in Camden, New Jersey.
Immediately the concert, which was held at BB&T Pavilion, was called to a stop as security rushed to help the fans. The incident occurred around 10pm, very early into the show. In footage captured by concertgoers you see Snoop and Wiz take the stage and almost straight away the railings collapse. Around 30 people were taken to hospital for minor injuries.
A university graduate told the Philadelphia Inquirer that “people fell about 10 feet to a concrete pathway below” leading everyone to pile onto each other.”
