Rumors of Frank Ocean’s album premiere last week put fans in a frenzy. They had to binge-listen to the singer’s Channel Orange before the Boys Don’t Cry release, sending his debut album back on the Billboard charts for the first time in three years.

Channel Orange rose to No. 146 on the Billboard 200 after hitting seven million streams since its 2012 release, last week [Thursday, August 4]. “Thinking About You” and “Swim Good” made appearances on other charts, including the Hot 100. As the excitement dwindled down from the predicted album drop on Apple Music Friday, August 5, the songs fell off the charts. Mixtape single “Novacane” also followed the same quick reemergence as the other tracks.
