Ken Slide of Footaction said, “Having artists who are at very different phases of their careers weigh in on style, music and so much more makes for really engaging content that resonates with Footaction’s customers.”

Footaction takes E-40 on a bicoastal trip with Omarion, BJ the Chicago Kid, and Casey Veggies. Hailing from California and Illinois, each artist offers different perspectives on music and fashion. They each got into the industry at different times, at different ages and with different technology. And the OG among the group, E-40, offers the others wise advice for longevity—though music sure has changed since his start in the ’80s. The rapper tells them, “To me, Hip Hop used to be urban. Now it’s more suburbian.”

The concept of the video truly derives from the art of flying, as the artists journey to Los Angeles.

“Omarion, Casey and B.J. are talented, respectful and down-to-earth,” E-40 said of the expedition, “I had a great time choppin’ it up with them about how the music industry has changed over the years, and trust this won’t be the last time we work together as I would love to combine forces in the studio sometime in the near future.”

More artists are expected to chime in on Footaction Free Flow as the digital series progresses.
