.WAV is the name of his forthcoming show on Beats 1 Radio, which goes hand in hand with his newly inked deal with Apple Music. He announced the show during an interview Wednesday, August 10 with Zane Lowe. He also spoke about his highly anticipated project Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight. He’s keeping the album’s features under wraps but he said it’s a “good body of work.”

I want people to really understand who we are and show a different side to me. I’ve been working very hard on this album. I feel I attacked it a different way than I did Rodeo. My album is coming. I’m prob gonna release the date on my show. I feel like it’s a very good body of work.

Many fans were disappointed when his album didn’t drop last Friday, August 5 as expected, however, he said August 12 marks the start of “Bird SZN.”
