According to a Deadline report, a few more stars are set to join the cast of the all-female remake of Ocean’s 11, which will be called Ocean’s 8. The spinoff already had Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett on board, as well as director Gary Ross, and Deadline is reporting that the film has added 5 more female stars to the cast.

Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina are the stars reportedly joining the cast, which put the total at 7 (out of 8). The report also says that there is a good chance of cameos from the previous trilogy, which could include George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon.

The George Clooney trilogy was a remake of the original 1960 film, which starred Frank Sinatra and his fellow rat pack friends, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. The latest trilogy grossed a whopping $1.2 Billion worldwide, so there’s no doubt this film will be looking to continue that success.

However, the film has already been attracting some negative feedback, centered around why there’s only 8 women, unlike the 11 men in both the original movie and the recent trilogy. And others are wondering why women need to be in a remake of an all-male film, instead of being in a totally original film that features an all-female cast. More details about the film will come out in the following months, so we’ll see wha sort of reception it’s going to get when it finally premieres.
