The true story of the black women who served as mathematicians during NASA’s race to space are having their stories being told on film in a new production by 20th Century Fox.

Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe) portray the brilliant African-American women who were the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit.

Kirsten Dunst, Mahershala Ali, Aldis Hodge, and Glen Powell also star in the movie, completing the star-studded cast.

The movie does not hit theaters until January 13, 2017. However, the official trailer shows that fans are in for a treat come next year.
