“A family that slays together, stays together”, says emerging fashion blogger Kaila Jackson, and Fabolous’ family definitely has mad crazy fashion sense. From their creative Halloween costumes including: The Simpsons last year, to casually coordinating outfits on family vacations, they aren’t going viral for nothing. Actually, it’s a given that his family dresses this well. Emily B, former Love and Hip-Hop New York reality star and Fabolous’ longtime girlfriend, is currently a celebrity stylist who has styled the likes of French Montana and Jennifer Lopez. Outside of being a stylist, Emily B has also designed a shoe line named after herself that is sold in Bakers and Nordstrom stores.

Speaking of clothing lines, the throwback jersey don has dabbled into the fashion industry, and also owns a clothing line.  “Blood’s Thicker” is Fabolous’ authentic clothing line that’s currently selling Summertime Shootout merchandise along with exclusive hats, most of which have sold out by the way. Fab also released iconic throwback jerseys through his collaboration with Ruvilla earlier this year named “Watch Me Ball.”

Fab broke the internet with his VMA’s attire on Aug. 21 when he debuted his Aaliyah Brick Layer inspired jersey and dedicated his ensemble to the anniversary of her passing on his Instagram. This past week his family’s pictures went viral again when they were vacationing out in Dominican Republic and donned coordinating outfits on the beach and to dinners.

Fabolous and Emily B’s fashion sense has led social media into a frenzy and has made them the new family goals.  If you ask me they are the true definition of match my fly. Now Fab, and Emily have gotten the entire family in on the fly, and its paying off for their brand in a major way. During the VMAs, and the vacation that followed, they went through an array of different looks, let’s break them down…

  1. Aaliyah Brick Layer Inspired Jersey – The masses were ready to declare Fab swag champ after he pulled this look off. Complimented so well by the vintage MTV jacket, and young Joso who also earned his swag stripes on the night. Rocking a jersey to the VMAs was a bold move, one that honestly if you aren’t Fab it probably wouldn’t have made a whole lot of sense. But, Fab pulled it off, and had the internet buzzing even in the midst of an already buzz worthy award show….I mean, Beyonce’ performed, Fab still got his rocks off.
  2. Sponge Mob/Yellow & Black color scheme – Black out, Balmain, Human Races, cut up Yeezy style shirts, splashes of yellow, The Fab 5 was on. The picture with the entire family was icy, but then when the boys took their group shot, it really capped things off. The internet felt this look as well, and rightfully so.
  3. GUCCI – The Gucci look is what took life goals twitter over the top. The green, red, and white complimenting each other so well, with some actual Gucci pieces in the mix, this was a wave. Taina, Fab and Em’s daughter bodied her green dress, and stood out in a major way in the photos. She’s definitely turning into a young fashion influence.
  4. Beach Is Better – To close things out, the fam took to the beach with coordinating retro colored fits, and of course it looked super ill. Young Joso stood out here with the button down/swim trunk matching combo. Most of all, this family looked super happy on vacay, and it just made their outfits look that much more dope. The fact that they can enjoy the fruits of their labor in style.

Now what would a Fabolous article be without some music talk, right? Summertime Shootout 2 just dropped, and its one of those! Summertime Shootout 2 features, Future, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Wale, Lil Uzi Vert, Tory Lanez, Jazzy, DJ Drama, Goldie, A Boogie, Dave East, and Don Q. Placing attention back on family, Fab says, “Don’t look to deep on SS2, pop it in while you’re riding with your lady tho. YOU wait for Freddy vs Jason.” By Freddy vs. Jason he’s referencing to his collaboration tape with Jadakiss. After hearing them follow each other up on “Don’t You Ever Play Yourself” from DJ Khaled’s Major Key album, this should be very entertaining.
