Last night [Sept.8th] at the Skylight Clarkson Square in New York City, the emerging unisex brand TELFAR gave it’s SS17 runway presentation for fashion week.
This cutting edge collection features an array of soft-toned and bright colors, along with innovative concepts; deconstructing what is considered normal, bland, and boring American staple looks. The collection was sported by a diverse selection of models including US Olympians. Each walked in signature looks suitable for all sexes. As stated by the brand “The result is a uniform for the future-present acting as a camouflage for counterculture”.
Designer Telfar Clemens established the brand back in 2005, and since then has transitioned “from underground to really a part of the New York story”, according to Vogue.com.
