Marvel Comics, the premier comic crafter, has unveiled it’s latest homage to the art form of hip-hop. Reworking the artwork of multiple hit rap albums, a host of sketch artists have come together to devise a revised batch album covers. Over 50 covers now featuring familiar imagery from the likes of Dr. Dre, The Notorious B.I.G., Lauryn Hill, 50 Cent have been unveiled.
Schoolboy Q is artfully depicted as Dr. Strange and MC Lyte‘s Lyte As A Rock cover art is completely reimagined with super-humans. Tyler the Creator, Action Bronson and more have recently been given the superhero artwork treatment.
